It is winter in Melbourne and if the winter blues are hitting you hard you are not alone, and nothing is wrong with you!
It is well known that winter can bring on what is known as SAD (seasonal affective disorder). This is when people whom normally have good mental health throughout the year find themselves exhibiting depressive symptoms.
If you are following me on social media you may have seen my posts on winter from a shiatsu perspective. Winter being a time of Yin, associated with the water element. I also shared some of the signs if you are out of balance and what you can do to bring yourself back into balance.

One of the things that helps with the winter blues from both the shiatsu perspective and the western perspective is meditation.
But who wants to go out in the middle of winter for this?!
